Le Tilleul's original stone barn has been converted into a luxurious, spacious holiday home. "The Barn" has three bedrooms and can accommodate up to six people plus a baby (no pets or smokers, please) - it also has its own garden and parking area. The ground floor has been fully adapted for wheelchair use and will also suit visitors who prefer to avoid stairs.

"The Barn" has a welcoming living area on the ground floor. The modern kitchen area has a dishwasher, a fridge, a full-size gas cooker, a microwave and a washing machine. The living area is equipped with a TV/video, a radio/tape/CD player, a dining table and chairs, and lots of books, maps, guides and games. There is also a log burner, which makes the house very cosy out of season.

Also on the ground floor are a separate WC, and a twin bedroom with an en suite shower-room/WC. The bedroom has French windows which open directly onto a private terrace with pretty views of the garden. The bathroom has been built to conform to French regulations for wheelchair use. It is large enough to allow for turning space, and includes low-level light switches, a sliding door, a high-level WC adaptor (if needed), a shower-seat and a "no-column" basin.

Upstairs, "The Barn" has a separate WC, a roomy shower-room with a basin and two further bedrooms - one with a four-poster bed and one with twin beds. Both rooms are airy, comfortably furnished and look out over the surrounding countryside. In summer, the fields of sunflowers and barley are a delight to see, and the main bedroom has views of the abbey at Le-Puy-Notre-Dame which is floodlit during the summer months and at Christmas. All bed linen and towels are included in the price, and for babies we provide a travel cot, plus two sets of linen, including quilts. If needed, a highchair, buggy and a baby bath are all available.

The garden has a barbecue a badminton set, a paddling pool/sandpit and patio furniture with a parasol. Two all-terrain bikes have also been provided and are the perfect way to explore the beautiful countryside. All the rooms in "The Barn" have modern electric heaters and double-glazed windows - making the house ideal for holidays all year round.
